The holidays were a busy time. We celebrated Christmas here with our Japanese exchange student, Risa. Then she went home to Tokyo to celebrate New Years, a big holiday in Japan, with her family there and to go back to her school. We miss her, but are in touch.
Right after New Years I and some of my family went to the Sierra Club lodge in Tahoe area for some snow and cross country skiing after two years without. It was lovely. Grand daughter Luna says she wishes she could go out and ski every morning before school.
I’m still looking for opportunities to read Toto’s Tale in schools and to publicize the book. Let me know if you have any suggestions. I’ve had very positive responses from everyone who has read it. Reviews are on Goodreads, Amazon, and the SCBWI book launch party page.
