Toto and I had a wonderful write up in today’s Santa Cruz Sentinel. Yesterday afternoon I read to Live Oak School fourth graders in the school library, thanks to the librarian, Diana Susoy. One of the teachers arranged for a reporter and photographer to cover the event. Here’s the link to the article.
The reading was a lot of fun. One of the best parts for me was answering all the students’ questions and hearing the feedback they gave to the teachers, librarians, and reporter. I get lots of feedback from adults who read the book, but haven’t had as much from kids. One girl said it made her want to write a story.
