The Peace Chorale is open to everyone who wants to sing. It’s been a wonderful experience for me for the past two years. I hope some of you will join this year. Below is an invitation to the upcoming retreat.
The Santa Cruz Peace Chorale invites all current & prospective singers to their annual Singers Retreat on Saturday, August 20, 2011 in Corralitos from 12:30-6:00pm. The retreat will be held at the home of Jim Crelan & Roberta Valdéz, 11 Eureka Canyon Rd., just a few doors up from the Corralitos Market. We would especially love to have founding members join us this year to kick off the choir’s 10th anniversary season.
This is a relaxing afternoon of singing, member-led workshops, food, and fun, and it’s a great way to “try out” the choir!
What to bring: wear loose, comfortable clothing; a potluck dish or snack to share (home-made pie bakers receive instant sainthood status 😉 ); depending on the weather, a light jacket or wrap or sun hat may be desired. Parking is limited and ride-sharing is encouraged.
