Querying

I’ve finished another revision of Wandering Time. It’s been a long process of learning and growing as a writer and I think it improves with each revision. So, I’ve started sending out agent queries again.
A good way to connect with agents is to attend a writing conference and there’s a one day SCBWI regional conference at Mills College in October that I plan to attend for the third year.
The best online resource for information about agents is Agent Query. You can search agents by genres they represent and learn whether they are accepting new clients, how to query, etc.
If you’ve finished your book and polished it, querying is your next step to publication. Nathan Bransford has also blogged about how to find an agent.
Good luck. A strong dose of that might help too.
