Updates

Paper Angel Press, my new publisher, is working on getting my latest middle-grade novel, The Double Crossing, to press. The story is historical fiction told from the alternating points of view of two thirteen-year-olds, Hannah and David. They meet while trying to escape Nazi Germany in 1939, before the war, aboard the MS St. Louis. They watch birds, uncover a spy plot, and are ultimately returned to Europe with the other nine hundred Jews on the ship.

The publisher is aiming for a November 7 release, but it may be a week or so later. Definitely in time for the holidays, so keep it in mind for your gift list.

And in further news, in a mutual and very friendly agreement, I took back rights for my previous book, The Weaver’s Daughter, from Desert Palm Press. I’ve decided to re-release it with Paper Angel rather than independently publishing. It will also be coming out sometime in November.

Thanks for supporting my writing. I’ll have an update on my latest, and totally different, project soon.
