I’ve signed on with local Desert Palm Press to publish The Weaver’s Daughter, my contemporary immigration story about Ixchel, a Maya girl from the Yucatan, who travels across the northern border of Mexico to find her father in Los Angeles. The book will be out by September.
This will be a first for Desert Palm also. They’ll be breaking into publishing children’s books with The Weaver’s Daughter. Everyone is excited. Stay tuned for further news.
