My book Toto’s Tale and True Chronicle of Oz will be coming out soon. I decided to publish it myself through our local independent book store, Bookshop Santa Cruz. Take a look at the beautiful cover:
It was designed by Sylvie Drescher at Bookshop, based on my suggestions. The story, as you can see from the back cover, is a retelling of the Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. This time, the story is told by Toto, from his perspective. It’s written for children ages eight to eleven. I’ve included a few of the original illustrations by W.W. Denslow.
