For those of you interested in studying midwifery or lactation consulting, or in becoming doulas, there is news at Aviva Institute, the online school where I teach. Aviva is in the process of a reorganization with some new leadership and procedures to improve the running of the school. One of the changes is the announcement of my former midwife partner and Aviva instructor Halimah Martin’s appointment to the position of Clinical Teaching Director. I know she’ll do a great job. Aviva is a few years old and is growing up!
Today is the new or dark moon again. Time to focus inward and plant seeds for the coming cycle. After a summer full of activities, I intend to rededicate myself to my writing, revising, and plans for marketing my work.
