It’s been a long wait, but The Weaver’s Daughter is going to be re-released on July 26th by Paper Angel Press. It will be available on Amazon, Ingram, Bookshop.org, and bookstores and libraries. It’s the same book with this new, beautiful cover and a blurb from the Kirkus review. If you haven’t been able to get a copy while it’s been out of print, you soon will. And for those of you who haven’t read it, it’s the award-winning story of a young Maya girl from Mexico’s Yucatan and her journey to cross the U.S. border to find her father.
My new historical fiction, The Double Crossing, about the experiences of two thirteen-year-olds on the 1939 voyage of the MS St. Louis, will soon follow. Details of the cover are still being worked out. It follows closely the historical hopes and disappointments of the 937 Jewish refugees from Hitler’s Germany, and the fictional adventures of Hannah and David on the ship as they try to stop a Nazi spy plot.
Congratulations!
